LMB has been attending the Retro Classics show in Stuttgart already since the last 6 years. The show really became significant when Retro Classics moved into the new Messe building. One big central hall (Halle 1) for the important brands, companies like Arthur Bechtel, Kienle and HK-Engineering with an unique collection of the most splendid Mercedes Benz cars as an example. Also Thiessen from Germany and The Gallery from Holland were present this year. Since LMB is showing a total differnt collection of cars, we have always been very welcome. This year we took with us an Excelsior, 3 Lagonda’s, a very nice LG45 Open Tourer, a 3 Ltr. Special and our own demonstration car! This car we have been using to show LMB’s capabilities during the last years, but the car is for sale now. To complete the collection we showed an Alvis Special in totally original condition, normally not typical German, but the car that attracted a lot of attention and interest.
Next to Hall 1, you will find another 8 halls, all with a specific theme. Due to the layout of the building, lots of light and room, you easily can spend one or more days to look at all your favourite items in a very pleasant way.
Antwerp Classis Salon is not one of the big shows, but a very nice event to meet most of our local customers. We took with us the Excelsior and a nice 3 Ltr. Lagonda. The Excelsior attracted a lot of interest, specifically because the car is a real Belgian car! Excelsior delivered the rolling chassis with engine and gearbox and Snutsel, a body factory from Saventhem made the complete and very beautiful body.
