    Lagonda LG6 Drop Head Coupe

Lagonda Cars, a British car manufacturer built cars from early 1900 till 1947, when it was taken over by Aston Martin. The LG6 is a deluxe car built under supervision of the famous WO Bentley, who joined Lagonda in de mid 30ties. Based on the chassis of the V12, about 83 LG6 cars were built of which 25 pieces of the DHC version, making it rare Lagonda. Certainly when you consider that about 10 are known to have survived.

This LG6 DHC has been restored by the current owner into the smallest detail by the known Lagonda specialist LMB in Belgium. From 2017 on the engine was rebuild with high performance cams, higher compression, new crank and new rods (photos and invoices available), the car was completely rewired as original, an EZ power steering was added (can be reversed to original), car was repainted in the original color, dark blue, the interior was redone in light blue leather, a heater was added for winter rally's, axles were rebuild, brakes were rebuild and upgraded, suspension rebuild, steering box rebuild, and a lot more small things were done.

The car has been used in the recent years for fun touring across Europe and has proven to be an excellent short and long distance driver. The engine performs very well delivering 150 HP with torque from low to high revs. The g10 gearbox with synchros on 2nd , 3rd, and 4th, shifts very well and is a pleasure to use. Brakes are top, with extra help of the mechanical booster fitted.

If you are looking for a stylish prewar tourer with no worries, this LG 6 DHC is the car to own and drive.
